Yes. Arcadia Academy is approximately 90 miles south of St. Louis, making it practical for a weekend wedding without requiring most St. Louis-area guests to fly. Guests can also stay on-site rather than making the return drive after the reception.
Can we have a rehearsal dinner and wedding at the same location?
Yes. Arcadia Academy can accommodate multiple parts of the wedding weekend on the same campus, including rehearsal dinner options, the ceremony, reception and overnight accommodations. Some packages also include additional wedding-weekend services.
Where can wedding guests stay near Arcadia Academy?
Arcadia Academy offers accommodations directly on campus, allowing some guests to stay where the wedding takes place. Additional lodging is available throughout the Arcadia Valley and nearby communities for weddings requiring more rooms.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Your booking includes the ENTIRE campus for that day, we do not double book! This means you can move your wedding inside the chapel and gymnasium, even if you had previously selected to have it outside!
What can wedding guests do in Arcadia Valley for the weekend?
Arcadia Valley is close to Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park, Taum Sauk Mountain and other outdoor destinations. Couples can turn the trip into a full weekend and give guests several options for exploring the area before or after the wedding.
How early should we book a wedding venue near St. Louis?
Popular Saturdays and peak wedding-season dates generally book earlier than Fridays, Sundays and off-season dates. If you have a specific date in mind, checking availability early gives you the best selection. We do not recommend waiting, as some popular dates can book out a year in advance! Couples with flexible dates may have more options.
